Wananga Assessment- Write a script in Te Reo Māori

Here is the video of me reading out the script I wrote in te reo Māori. As I am reading the script to my Wananga class, a video is playing with the students from my class at school acting out the script (they have masks on to protect their identity. This was an assessment task, so I was being assessed on this presentation.
I am very proud of my progress and how far I have come with my te reo. My reading and writing in te reo is pretty good (at the level I am at); I just need to improve my ability to listen and speak te reo.
I have made a conscious effort to speak more at home and school, offering a translation after each sentence structure I use. I even left a note in the fridge for Logan (my son) yesterday, and I wrote it in te reo and included a translation. I am also emailing and texting in te reo now too.
I am enjoying this journey and would love to be a fluent speaker one day!
