Using the Seesaw App

This year is my first time using the Seesaw app to share my students' learning with their whanau. My colleague used it last year and this year our whole staff will be using it.
Last year I used Google sites, before that I used a Weebly page, and prior to that I had a class blog page to share learning. Out of all of these different methods that I have tried, Seesaw is by far my favourite.
I am absolutely loving this app! Students can share very easily using devices in the classroom. Parents/caregivers/whanau are notified when their child posts something and their child can see if their post has been seen.
The app is so incredibly easy to use on any device and I especially love the convenience of using it on my personal cell phone.
I love the format of Seesaw in that viewers can like or post comments on their child's learning similar to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The whole thing is working nicely to establish a strong connection between home and school. Here is a link to my blog. This is where I share posts from students' journals.
